MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -Middlebury College football players
Mike Keenan (Rutland, Vt.) and Scott Secor (Lake Odessa, Mich.) have
been honored by the NESCAC. Keenan was named the league's offensive
player of the week, while Secor was named the rookie of the week.

lead the Panthers to a 55-31 win over Hamilton in the team's final
home game of the season last Saturday. Middlebury wraps up its
season on November 8th at Tufts.
Keenan had a career day at quarterback, breaking
the school record with five touchdown passes in the contest, despite
not playing the end of the third and entire fourth quarter. His
record-setting day ended with him completing 22 of 32 passes for 343
yards, including going 12 for his first 13 at one point in the
contest, for 173 yards. Keenan helped the team to break the school
mark of 398 yards passing in a game as well as six touchdown passes
and 611 yards of total offense.
On the other side of the ball, Secor was steady once again
as he made 11 tackles, intercepted a pass, had three pass break-ups
and one tackle for loss. The rookie has been doing it all season
long as he now leads Middlebury with 64 tackles and three
interceptions on the season.
